What to do
Our guest house, located at an altitude of 1530 meters, one km away from the village resort of Albiez Le Mollard, is an ideal starting place for all sorts of mountain and nature activities.
Winter activities
Alpine skiing
Ther is a ski resort in Albiez-Montrond. It is about 1 km away from our guest house, in the village of "Le Mollard". Main caracteristics:
- Artificial snow (50 snowguns)
- 67 hectares of alpine skiing for every level
- 22 slopes
- 13 skilifts including 5 chairlifts
- Ski school
If you prefer bigger ski resort, you can drive to the domaine des Sybelles , in about 15 to 20 mn (in St Jean d'Arves or St Sorlin d'Arves). The domaine des Sybelles is made up of 6 interconnected resorts: Saint Sorlin d'Arves, Saint Jean d'Arves, Le Corbier, La Toussuire, Les Bottières and Saint Colomban des Villards, 310km of runs alltogether.
Cross country skiing
There are 2 free cross country trails in Albiez-Montrond:
- a 3 km trail, starting behind the church in Albiez le Vieux.
- a 15 km trail, located on the Montrond plateau, at the foot of the Arves Needles, starting from the hamlet of Chalmieu, 5 km away from the guest house.
